Brian (Hyuk) Cha, MD, PhD

Dr. Brian (Hyuk) Cha, MD, PhD, is a compassionate dermatologist with a specialized focus on chronic skin conditions, including psoriasis and eczema. With a deep commitment to personalized care, Dr. Cha is dedicated to improving access to high-quality dermatology services and empowering patients through expert treatment at Zest Health.

Dr. Cha completed his undergraduate degree (AB) at Princeton University before earning his MD and PhD from the University of Michigan. His extensive clinical and research experience has shaped his patient-centered approach, where he collaborates with individuals to create effective treatment plans that prioritize their unique dermatologic needs.

Dr. Cha chose to join Zest Health because of its innovative approach to dermatology, focused on expanding access to care for patients with chronic conditions, especially those who may face challenges accessing specialists in their communities. He is passionate about delivering care that is both effective and empathetic, ensuring patients feel supported throughout their treatment journey.

Outside of his work, Dr. Cha enjoys spending time with his family, staying active through running, weight lifting, and playing golf and pickleball. He is also a devoted fan of University of Michigan sports and enjoys reading.

"Be consistent with your skincare routine.  Having a regular baseline regimen will both prevent flares and make any necessary tweaks easier to incorporate.  Daily moisturizing should always be part of this routine."
