Dr. Rachel Day, MD

Rachel Day, MD, is the lead dermatologist and Chief Medical Officer at Zest Health, where she drives initiatives to enhance access to high-quality dermatology care for patients with chronic skin conditions. As a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Day is a published researcher and is passionate about empowering individuals with conditions like psoriasis, eczema, and other inflammatory skin disorders to take control of their health and strengthen their skin barrier.

After a successful career in private practice, Dr. Day chose to help establish Zest to further her commitment to improving access to dermatology care, particularly for patients with chronic conditions. She completed her medical training at Weill Cornell Medical College and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, followed by a dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell. With additional training as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, she brings a multidisciplinary and comprehensive approach to dermatology care.

Dr. Day’s approach is centered on personalized care, helping patients manage their skin conditions with confidence and clarity. She provides patient-centered care by offering a range of treatment options tailored to each individual’s needs, empowering patients to make informed decisions. Dr. Day emphasizes collaboration, ensuring patients understand their options and feel supported in choosing the best treatment for their unique circumstances.

Interests Outside of Zest

Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Day enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, whether running, hiking, or exploring new places. She is passionate about cooking and teaching her children how to make nourishing meals with fresh ingredients.
